Welcome to the RXAphotography Top Hat Project.

The project will involve being photographed with a beautiful Stanton Top Hat.

The brief for the participants is to style themselves and to work with the hat with (at first) minimal guidance from the photographer. Wear it, hold it, spin it, throw it (but don’t hurt it!), it’s up to you.

I’m looking for and welcoming a diverse range of participants and as many as I can schedule. Don’t be shy. The aim is to self-publish a photo book when there is enough content.

The portraits will be taken against the pictured hand-painted backdrop at our South-East location.

For your time, you will receive a high-resolution digital file and a beautiful 8” x 12” matted print of the same image.

There is a small participation fee of $25 which secures your time slot and covers your print. The book will be available for sale at the conclusion of the project and you have the opportunity to purchase additional photographs from your session only should you desire. There is no obligation or hard sell to purchase either the book or any additional photographs.
